Like we've made head of our bed, we've decided to make an armchair which will fit with it.

To give a new life for your old armchair you will need:

- The wooden bench for the seat,
- Tissu to cover the structure of armchair,
- Stapler,
- Someone to help you.

 

We've started by cutting the material on 3 pieces. One piece for the front, second piece for the seat and third one for the seatback.

You need someone to hold the material while you will use the stapler to fix it. 

You can start with the front, like this the second piece for the seatback will cover the front.

 

The most importat point is to check, how you will put the cover for the seatback. Make a shape you want, before you fix it. I've made pleats to avoid

having something wrinkled and to not cut the material.

It takes the biggest part of the work. After you reach to have the effect you want you need to fix it with a stapler and to cut out unnecessary material residues.

 

Once you've finished, you can take the seat and cover it with your material. Our seat was made only with mousee. To use stapler, you need to have wood under the seat to safetly fix the pins. 

We've cut the wood on the shape of our mousse and we've fixed the material.

To finish our work we put 4 wooden feets and armchair was ready.
