Add more character to your room by using a wallpaper.

What do you need:

- rolls of wallpaper (depends of the wall/room you want to change),

- set of tools for putting a wallpaper (I took paper knife, roll for paint, brush to put glue)  + glue,

- ladder,

- 2 chairs (to hold your pieces of wallpaper),

- scissors and measuring tape.

For glue: pail, water, stick.

I wanted to change this room to make separation between 2 zones (tv zone and dining zone).  The difference is big from my point of view. Before it was "sad" and without character.

Just by changing only one wall or its' parts you can get really nice effect.

How I did?

I used the moment, while my daughter was sleeping (this was my priority).

I started with preparing the place where I will work and to prepare everything I need. I prepared the glue according to the instructions on the package.

And I cleaned the walls from dust.

I measured the height of the walls and added 20 cm.
I made all equal sections of wallpaper (I udes chairs to hold the sections to cut), then began to apply the glue ( in the case of my ordinary wallpaper - I put glue only on wallpaper  and not on the wall) , each time I rolled up the section into a roll and my rolls saturated with glue.
When part of the rolls was ready , I started from the first , check which way was up and which down.
After you put one section of the wallpaper is important to remove the air, which is blocked under (I used a dry paint roller and I rolled the air out on the sides )
Then I cut pieces of wallpaper that had to be removed (up, down , electric plug , fireplace) - it's important to do it while your paper is still wet, and... using a sharp knife !
By matching all of the sections I managed to achieve the effect I wanted .

It took the time during my little doughter was sleeping, around 2h.
